1. About Sposa
Sposa is a wedding-planning service operated by SPOSA LIMITED, a company
registered in Scotland (company number SC889364). Using Sposa means you accept
these terms.
2. The service
Sposa reads forwarded supplier emails, structures the data, generates a personalised checklist and a Style Guide brief, and surfaces your wedding's operational state in a single dashboard. The full feature list is on our home page; we may add or refine features over time, but we won't quietly remove anything you depend on.
3. Subscription and billing
- Price: £24/month, billed in GBP via Stripe.
- Free trial: 7 days of full access, no card required to begin. After the trial your account stays readable, but an active subscription is needed to keep making changes. Billing starts only when you choose to subscribe.
- Renewal: automatic until you cancel.
- Cancellation: any time, from your dashboard or the Stripe Billing Portal. You retain access until the end of the current billing period; no partial refunds.
- Refunds: we'll refund the most recent monthly charge if you cancel within 14 days of payment, no questions asked. Beyond that, only required by law.
4. Your responsibilities
You agree:
- You're at least 18 and have the legal capacity to enter this agreement.
- The information you give us is accurate (so the personalised features actually work).
- You won't forward us emails containing material that's illegal, defamatory, or that you don't have the right to share.
- You won't try to break the service (rate-limit abuse, scraping other couples' data, attempting to bypass auth).
5. AI-generated content
Sposa uses AI (specifically Anthropic Claude) to read your emails, extract structured data, generate your checklist, and synthesise your style fingerprint. AI is not perfect. You should verify important extracted data (deposit amounts, balance dates, contract clauses) against the original source before acting on them. We surface the source email or PDF behind every extracted field for exactly this reason.
You retain ownership of all the inputs you provide and all the outputs Sposa generates from them.
6. Intellectual property
SPOSA LIMITED owns the platform, the brand, and the underlying code. You own your wedding data and the artefacts (briefs, checklists, exports) Sposa produces from it. You grant Sposa a limited licence to process your data solely to operate the service.
7. Vendor briefs and shareable links
When you generate a Supplier Brief or share a Style Guide PDF link, you're choosing to make that content accessible to anyone who has the link. Treat the share URLs like you would a Google Drive "anyone with the link" share. Sposa doesn't index or republish them.
8. Service availability
We aim for high availability, but we don't promise zero downtime. Planned maintenance is scheduled outside UK-evening hours where possible. If we go down for an extended period (more than 24 hours in a billing period), we'll credit your account on request.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, SPOSA LIMITED's total liability to you for any claim arising out of these terms is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We exclude liability for indirect, consequential, or special losses, including lost profits, lost data (where Sposa wasn't the source of truth), or wedding-day disruptions caused by third-party suppliers.
We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so — including death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation.
10. Termination
Either side can end the agreement at any time. We'll terminate your account if you seriously breach these terms (e.g. abuse, fraud, illegal content). On termination, the data-retention rules in the Privacy Notice apply.
11. Changes to these terms
Material changes are notified by email at least 14 days before they take effect. If you don't accept them, you can cancel before they apply. Minor clarifications are made in place; the "Last updated" date above always reflects the current version.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of England & Wales.
13. Contact
Anything legal or contractual: legal@sposa.ai. Anything to do with your data specifically: dpo@sposa.ai. Anything else: just hit reply on any Sposa email.
